Yasuharo
Imano found success
early on in his professional
career. At the age
of 26, he tasted victory
in The Crowns in 1999,
which is one of Japan's
biggest golf events.
With his star shining
brightly, he followed
it up with further
wins in the 2000 Mizuno
Open and notched two
more victories in
2002.
The 32-year-old endured
a title drought for
three years before
returning to the winner's
enclosure with two
victories in 2005
at the Suntory Open
and season-ending
Nippon Series JT Cup,
which helped him finish
second on the Japan
Golf Tour Money List.
Yasuharo is respected
as one of Japan's
best players where
his solid all-round
game has helped him
return to his winning
ways. He is widely
expected to play a
big role in Asia's
bid to lift the inaugural
Royal Trophy against
Europe.
